Jim Berk is currently the chairman at Goodman Media Partners, an investment company that focuses on early-stage media production. Berk dedicates his work to increasing social awareness and social impact through media production. He is also the former CEO of PodcastOne/Courtside Entertainment, a media company that produces and distributes more than 200 podcast shows. Berk is former CEO of Participant Media, an LA-based production company that strives to produce socially relevant content. Under Berk’s leadership, several films the company produced were Food Inc., Waiting for ‘Superman’, Contagion, and 2016 Academy Award Winner for Best Picture Bridge of Spies and Spotlight. Prior to his work at Participant Media, Berk also served as president and CEO of Fairfield Resorts and Gryphon Colleges Corporations.
