David Bishop is president of David Bishop Media, a firm specializing in media business consulting and executive leadership development.
Prior to forming his own consulting business, David was the president of Sony Pictures Entertainment, where he oversaw all aspects of the worldwide home entertainment division, including sales, marketing and operations.
Before that he was president and chief operating officer of MGM Home Entertainment, where he was responsible for home entertainment, international theatrical, consumer products and video games.
He also currently serves as an advisor to numerous startups and is a founding board member for Parrot Analytics, as well as a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors and former chairman of the manufacturing committee for Video Software Dealers Association. He was also the first president and long-time vice chairman for the Digital Entertainment Group.
He is the founding co-chairman of Fast Forward to End Hunger, the chairman of Los Angeles Foodbank and has served on the board of End Hunger Network, Stanford University’s Positive Coaching Alliance and Graziadio School of Business and Management’s mentoring program at Pepperdine University.
David received his M.B.A. in marketing and marketing management from Saint Joseph’s University. He also received a graduate certificate in executive and organizational coaching from Columbia University.
