At the conference, Third Space Fellow Jaime Carias led a series of ACE IT Skills: Young Professionals and Career Success workshops for both undergraduate and graduate students attending the conference to help them develop soft skills to aide their career success with vital problem-solving skills. In an increasingly automated, data-driven world, it may come as a surprise that intrinsically human soft skills are driving the future of the workplace—at least according to LinkedIn’s 2019 Global Talent Trends Report. However, though increasingly important, soft skills still remain fairly ambiguous, namely because they are difficult to measure.
Third Space is aiming to solve this by revolutionizing the soft skill assessment.

On January 24, 2019, Jaime Carias, a fellow at the USC Annenberg Center for Third Space Thinking, will be running a Third Space workshop with 26 staff members of the USC College Advising Corps.
